steves silly writing rules

Only one character starting with the same first letter (no Steve and Sean and Sally)
Write daily even if you don’t feel like it, sometimes a writer’s internal conflict can result in a positive session
Know your ending before you get there (but it could be half way through)
Do not go back and rewrite until you have 50 pages, even then its plot adjustments.
Set a deadline and stick to it
Join a critique group immediately to see how you’re doing.
You can be published, but you probably will not make much money
Don’t drink and write. You could hurt yourself or someone else.

Finally after getting stopped I stopped and analyzed what was going on and spent a lot of introspection, research and reading trying to locate the source of these issues. The result of was the 3by3 writing method - a three step program to start and then continue the process of completing a story all the way to publication.
