“Exercise Stimulates Creativity
You write with your conscious mind, but you create in conjunction with your subconscious. One of the ways that this creative teamwork can be encouraged is through exercise. There is a threshold that is crossed even during mild exercise, like walking, where the conscious mind is so occupied with the physical process that the subconscious is allowed temporary access. Great ideas can occur during this time. Making notes or texting an idea to yourself can be worthwhile.
It is also a good idea to keep a pad by the bed. That late-night dream will not stay in your memory until morning.”
