You’re not THAT special

I know you have great ideas. You want to break new ground in your writing. You can say it better with more emotion and can create an impact far beyond others who toil at the craft.

Well, I’m sorry, it’s not true. You’re not THAT special.You’re mortal. You misspell. You leave unwanted words and you have plot even if write the next best seller, many people will think your work is mediocre and a sellout.

Even if you write the next Gatsby or Grapes of Wrath, you will be hard pressed to get an agent and get it published.

Yes, you are talented. Yes, you can do it. But thinking that you’re that superior, that gifted and that LUCKY, means

You’re wrong.

We all have to conform. Use the same language, submit in an acceptable format and employ, generally, the same grammatical rules. Stick to the main road and you will probably find more success.

About 3by3 writing method

The author of 12 books, half of them textbooks, two novels and three self help. has struggled with his challenges of completion, distractions, plotting and writers block. Finally after getting stopped I stopped and analyzed what was going on and spent a lot of introspection, research and reading trying to locate the source of these issues.
