Be careful of what you wish for. Not only will you be at the end of a long line of applicants, here’s a reminder: fame is a hard check to cash. Unless you’re playboy material, have a day job or are a trust fund baby, you’d better put some cash put aside for food and rent while you wait for the fame train.
Just as so you know, as you sit in your dark room hoping to win the lottery of writing, over 180,000 books are published each year. Precious few sell millions and of the millions of dollars those books generate, you will only see a small percentage of the retail after everyone (bookstore, agent, distributor) takes their piece.
But if you love to write, love to read and love to rewrite. You will, in time become an author. Follow the 3by3 writing method and you can be published.
But fame is not part of the plan. That, you will have to do on your own.
