Just as so you know, as you sit in your dark room hoping to win the lottery of writing, over 180,000 books are published each year. Precious few sell millions and of the millions of dollars those books generate, you will only see a small percentage of the retail after everyone (bookstore, agent, distributor) takes their piece.

But if you love to write, love to read and love to rewrite. You will, in time become an author. Follow the 3by3 writing method and you can be published.
But fame is not part of the plan. That, you will have to do on your own.
